University of Scouting

The Mountain West Council's University of Scouting offers a comprehensive array of classes for all levels of Scouting and Leadership! You are welcome to sign up for any class that interests you, and there are many to choose from! Encourage other Adult Scouters in your Unit to come with you for an awesome day of Scouting. You will find a swath of training topics not offered anywhere else or at any other time in our council. The University of Scouting focuses on practical and useful topics you can take back to your unit and use right away. You'll have the opportunity to meet new Adult Scout Leaders to expand your network and learn from their experience. At the end of this fantastic learning day, you will be totally energized to take what you learned back to your unit to share and help improve upon the program in your unit.
This year we have tracks based upon your experience level:
- Scout aged Youth new and advanced activities
- Cub Scout Leaders new to scouting and more advanced
- Troop Leadership and development
- Eagle Scout
- Fun with the Unit’s Youth!
