Come out to watch the Boise Hawks and help local youth. The Boise Hawks take on the Idaho Falls Chukars!

• Seating is limited.
• All Scouts who come in uniform are welcome to participate in the color guard ceremony. Please arrive at 6:30 pm to be in the color guard.
• We will have an area to set up an information booth.
• We will have a service event: Kids Helping Kids as well.

Kids Helping Kids Service Project at Boise Hawks Scout Night

Join Scouts, families, and community members for an evening of baseball, service, and community impact at Boise Hawks Scout Night.

As part of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Kids Helping Kids Community Service Project, assembling hygiene kits that will be distributed to local youth through community schools and partner organizations throughout the Treasure Valley.

Many students face challenges accessing basic personal care items. Through this hands-on service project, youth and families can make an immediate and meaningful difference in the lives of other young people in our communities.

The project is designed to:

• Provide a simple and meaningful opportunity for service.
• Demonstrate youth serving youth.
• Support local schools and students.
• Encourage community engagement and volunteerism.
• Show how small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.

Participants will assemble hygiene kits containing essential personal care items that will be distributed directly to local youth-serving organizations and community schools.

As a special thank you, youth who help assemble five or more hygiene kits will receive a complimentary ice cream voucher during the event.

This service project also serves as the unofficial kickoff of this year's broader community service efforts surrounding Scouting for Food, an initiative working toward a goal of collecting 250,000 pounds of food and essential items for Idaho families experiencing food insecurity.

At its heart, the event reflects a simple idea:

Communities helping communities. Kids helping kids.

By bringing together youth, families, volunteers, and community partners, Boise Hawks Scout Night provides an opportunity to celebrate service, strengthen communities, and inspire the next generation of community leaders.

Goal: Assemble as many hygiene kits as possible for local students and families in need while creating a fun, family-friendly evening centered on service and community impact.
