Cub Day Camp Range Officers (18 and up) must be certified before camp begins. Cub Day Camp Range Assistants (16 and up) are highly encouraged to attend this training.

Adults who plan to participate as Range Officers at upcoming Cub Scout events must be currently retistered and have current Youth Protection Training.

Range Officer Training includes:

  • Best ways to instruct scouts
  • Range set up and care
  • Equipment use
  • Range safety
  • Fun

The Range Officer certifications from this training are valid for 2 years (18 and up) at Cub Day Camps and use at Council and District Cub Scout Shooting Sports events only.

                                     There is no cost to certify at this Range Officer Training, however,

 Range Officers and Assistants must RSVP to attend so we have training supplies available for you.
